Wyvern's Respite is Ishgard’s answer to the woes of traveling through the Western Highlands. Inclement weather, dangerous beasts and unruly criminal organizations dot the frozen wasteland, leaving many vulnerable to injury or worse. This outpost offers food, drink, medicine, meager lodging and stables to revitalize weary travelers on their way to their destination. Inn rooms are available at 300 gil a night with a maximum stay of three nights allowed.Owned and operated by the retired Temple Knight, Obeux Dotefuste, he runs a tight ship and has little patience for non-sense. He’ll toss unruly patrons back out into the snow as quickly as they arrive should they break the fragile peace of his establishment. It is his hope that making such a pit stop available will reduce unnecessary suffering and strife for those wandering one of the most inhospitable landscapes in the wider world.
Rules
This is a SFW, 21+ venue. While strong language, some violence and suggestive themes are permitted, public sex acts are strictly forbidden. Please leave the venue if you wish to engage in such.
Please stow minions to avoid screen clutter. If your character has a pet it will be kept in the kennel until they depart.
Weapons are allowed but they must be sheathed at all times. If a patron draws a weapon inside the outpost they will be asked by staff to put it away. Failure to do so may result in ejection from the establishment.
Fights and scuffles are to be taken outside. We recognize a dice system for brawls in order to maintain fairness but ultimately it will be up to those who are involved on how they wish to proceed.
Please keep OOC chatter to a minimum. BRBs or stray commentary is fine. Full conversations in OOC is not. Take it to tells or party chat please.
No warrior of light or NPC characters.

Obeux is a native born Ishgardian who served in the Temple Knights for over twenty years. A grievous injury to his arm forced him into early retirement. Not one to sit idle he contemplated a way to keep himself busy while also continuing to serve Ishgard. Out of this desire, Wyvern's Respite was born. He has a blunt, to the point personality and has little patience for rabble rousers.Note: Obeux is an NPC. At times, Caelvir may post for him. When any NPC is speaking their dialogue will be surrounded by brackets to avoid confusion. Example: <"Greetings, traveler."> If you order from the bar, assume your items are retrieved by Obeux. The wayward Dragoon. Caelvir is a recent addition to the establishment. He has a plucky, quick witted personality and holds no reservations on shutting problem patrons down. The Duskwight is friendly to those who treat him with respect and he can often be found chatting to others from his watchful perch. E'zale Tia
Stablehand & Kennel Attendant
Energetic and eager to serve, Obeux considers E'zale his right hand man. The happy-go-lucky Miqo'te has a love for all animals, big and small. Sometimes given the nickname "The Chocobo Whisperer", his pleasant demeanor does well to calm the beasts in his care. All patrons can rest easy knowing E'zale is minding their most treasured companions.Note: E'zale is an NPC. If you are putting up mounts, pets or cart animals, assume he is the one taking care of them.
