Welcome to the Singing Ahriman. Our space ain't fancy, full of whatever furniture we could pull together, and features some of the cheapest drinks you'll find 'neath the Admiral's thumb. But for a lot of folks, there's no better place to relax.Come in, have a drink, take the stage, find a place to stay the night. Whatever suits you.

Inn & Amenities
(All Prices are RP'd only, though tips are appreciated.)
Inn Room
10,000 gil per night. Max two people to a room. No visitors.(You are welcome to use the inn room outside of public openings. During public openings, the inn room(s) will be locked unless requested.)
Baths
500 gil for entry.
200 gil to rent a towel.
300 gil for other amenities.
Free for inn guests.
Laundry Service
Clothes washing is 500 gil per bunch.
700 gil per piece of leather clothing or piece of armour.
Chocobo Stabling
1,000 gil per day.
Special care requests may incur additional costs.
Barter Board
The Barter Board is a service provided by The Singing Ahriman.
The rules are simple. If you want an item off of the list, just offer something of equal or greater value. Exchanges in gil are accepted. We also accept donations of items.Check the board for available items. Available during openings and on special request.
RP Systems
Dipping your toes into the RP scene? Not sure how to get started? We know how daunting it can be to get involved in RP, so we have a couple of systems in place to help!For those who want to quietly observe roleplay before getting started, please feel free to use the Looking for Meld status. This will let other players know that you are not seeking interaction at this time, and simply want to watch.For those that want to get into roleplay, but may find the idea of approaching people a bit daunting and would prefer others come to you, please use the Looking for Party status. While there is no guarantee that people will come over, but we will help out where able!To change your status, press the letter 'O' on your keyboard, then right click your name, choose 'Edit Search Info,' and select the appropriate status from the drop down menu pictured below.
Conduct
The Singing Ahriman is a heavy-RP venue focused on in-character interactions and providing a lore-friendly setting. We are aimed toward those playing from Asia-Pacific time zones, particularly those who are new to RP. Anyone is welcome to dip their toes in as much or as little as they are comfortable with. Feel free to just observe! If you would prefer something more private, or feel you could use some introductions, please do not hesitate to shoot a message to one of the staff. Take a look at the 'RP Systems' tab as well!Please keep public RP within the venue SFW. Given that The Singing Ahriman welcomes people from all walks of life, a wide variety of RP flavors are bound to present themselves. If some of those flavors suit you fine, please feel free to try and get involved! If not, you are not at all expected or required to take part. If you have any concerns about the RP in the venue, please let us know. If it is violation of FFXIV's rules, please contact a GM.As a general guideline, we suggest determining what your RP partner is seeking and comfortable with ahead of time if you think you'd like to get into something more involved than idle chatter.But most of all, be excellent to each other～♪
The Singing Ahriman FC
The Singing Ahriman is a venue renowned for its cantankerous proprietor as much as it is for the community that has grown around it. People from all walks of life, from adventurers to scholars, frequent the place for its cheap food and drinks, inexpensive inn rooms, as well as news of work and other going-ons that filter through.Aside from being a heavy-RP venue, it is also a lore-based RP Free Company. It is best suited for those that may not necessarily be seeking to join a formal organisation. Whether a scholar making use of the inn rooms, a regular patron, or just someone seeking work on occasion, this is not a group so much as it is a community based around a local watering hole.
Things to Know
♪ This group is primarily based around the venue, The Singing Ahriman. However, membership within the FC does not require one to work at the venue. The character can be a patron, someone staying at the inn, or a staff member if you so desire.♪ Alts and infrequently used RP characters are welcome here. There are no activity requirements.♪ We are seeking to establish weekly events, both RP and content-based.♪ Those whose characters are on other servers are welcome. Communication takes place through in-game CWLS as well as our Discord server.♪ The Singing Ahriman shares a Discord server with its sister FC on Bismarck, The Trading Post.

Staff
Mikh'a ZhwanDespite having been hired on as security, he is roped into manning the register and handling various tasks that pop up around the Ahriman more often than not. On rare occasions he finds himself in front of the Ahriman's stove. Just don't tell Ivy about it.
Beautiful Ivy (NPC)
The founder of the Singing Ahriman, known as much for her cantankerous attitude as she is for the absolutely delicious dishes she whips up. Though no longer the owner, she sticks around as the establishment's cook. Just don't expect her to take your order with a smile.
