What is the Void Tomb?

The Void Tomb is a place deep beneath the prying eyes of Eorzea.

Whilst there is combat to be found throughout the lands fighting for entertainment and profit is still generally frowned upon outside the arena in Ul'dah there are places to go if one has the inclination to look.

The tomb is one such place. The entrance is revealed only to those with the right intentions and determination that this place feeds upon. So whisper the way and help those that would meet in the heart of this place... in the cold cage that is our stage.

So come and express your inner warrior. Use what skills you have from the mundane to the unconventional.

Welcome...

The Rules of the Tomb

Code of Conduct

There are a few expectations for those that enter The Void Tomb. These rules must be observed at all times.

The Void Tomb is an 18+ area for all players.Staff members have the final word within the tomb.We ask people to leave OOC disputes outside the tomb. We are an immersive experience and so everything in public view is considered IC.While this is an 18+ venue please leave all erotic RP (ERP) outside the tomb.Any disputes will be handled by a member of staff as respectfully and privately as possible. We're here to help so do please bring these issues to us.Fighters must respect the combat rules and any rulings that the announcer makes about the current fight.Betting is allowed between individuals however we do not have a betting system for the house. This is up to the individuals if they so choose to indulge in this behaviour. We do not charge for drinks and services in the tomb. There is a healing area provided to RP after the fight if anyone wishes to use it. Any healers have the final say on how to handle the situation while in the area.

The Fight Format

There will be a maximum of 4 fights per night.Participants can give the signup staff member their name, title and rank to sign up.Participant selection will be favoured toward those that have had the least amount of fights that month. In the event of multiple people with the same amount of fights names will be randomly drawn.Staff will inform the fighter if they are chosen to fight that night or not.Names can be whatever that person chooses but must be decent enough to call out in yell and shout. If there is a problem with a name the staff member will explain this and request the fighter provide a new one.Once registration is closed the fights will be randomly selected. The first fighter to win 2 out of 3 rounds is the winner. Each round will consist of 6 turns. In the event that there is a tie at the end of round 3 a sudden death roll will be made. The highest roll shall determine the winner of the fight.Rolls will be conducted in a party with the referee staff member using /dice 100 party.Rolls will be modified based on the ATK and DEF modifiers for each fighters rank.Fighters will roll to determine who is the attacker i.e. initiative role. The attacker will emote their attack first then roll. The defender will roll then emote their reaction. If the attacker hits they will earn 1 point toward winning that round. After the initial rolls the attacker and defender rolls will switch. At the end of the 6 turns of the round the referee will call a break. The fighters can emote once to reset themselves in the arena ie rest, get up, shake things off, etc. The referee will call the round result (Which fighter won or if it is a draw).

Fighter Ranks

Fighters participating in the Tomb will acquire skill modifiers. These modifiers are applied to the attack and defense rolls during that match.

Once a fighter has attained the balance, offensive or defensive ranks they can switch between the trees. They will declare what rank they will use at the time of sign up which locks them in to that rank for that fight night.
