A Bitter Revenge...
Of course, what is a good bar without a few skeletons in the closet. As warm and welcoming as the bar can be, if the walls could talk they might just scream. The Gambit has some amazing drinks but the same mad roe who came up with the menu also left a little surprise. The gambit drinks are cursed with an abundance of drinks... and poison. Ordering a drink could result in poisoning, don't worry we have an on-site healer*. So take your chance with the drinks, I promise they are that good.
* Healer not obligated to cleanse poison.

The crew of the Jig is expected to be driven, working alongside another pirate's crew, Wisdom's Bane, is an all-day competition. Working smart not just hard, the Captain of the Jig Meredith Black wants her crew to be witty and quick. After all brute strength can only take you so far.

The Jig is a place to kick your feet up drink all night and watch the fights just roll in. Action as soon as you enter the door, this fight pit's stage is front and center. With 2nd story seating and an additional stage in the basement, this place is stocked at the ready for any event. Of course, the fighters aren't forgotten here. From a recovery room, free drinks, and prize nights expect to be rewarded for your bloodshed.

Those who live long know the benefits of age and the scope of time. This is the weapon Meredith Black wields, the wizen captain of the Hangman's Jig demands deadly precision. She is just as likely, willing to welcome you with open arms as she is to slit your throat if you foil her timely plans. With her long-lived experience, she leads her crew through the already-threaded path in the hopes to find treasures, both new and old.

From the north comes an oarmaiden ready to carve through mountains just to make a name for herself. Nyun is young and not the most worldly, but where she lacks experience she makes up for in brute strength. Nearly standing at 7 fulms and 400 ponzes, this compact bruiser is known as the 'Mini behemoth' for a reason. However, Nyun is just as skilled at building stuff as she is at breaking stuff as long as she has an ale at the end of the day.

Radim is a samurai from the Far East, having come to Eorzea at the behest of an Ul'Dahn merchant. He was soon cast out from service, and found himself bereft of friends and work before finding kinship in the Hangman's Jig. Having found purpose in protecting those he cares about at the Jig, Radim now works to protect his newfound home.

Alun came to the Jig hoping to get a fresh start with her partner Piane. At first she was lost, wondering where her niche was, since her former roles as Bookkeeper and Medic were both already filled. It wasn't long before she tried her hand at bartending, and she turned out to be pretty good at it! So come to the Jig for all your thirst-quenching needs, and if you ask nicely, she'll even let you order some tea off the secret menu.

RUles:
-Matches are tests of endurance-based random rolls (/random).
-You and your opponent will both have 1000 HP.
-Each match will start with a roll for initiative, and continues until one player reaches 0 HP.
-Defense rolls with a difference greater than 500, in favor of the defender, will be considered a counter attack.
-Matches have a time limit of 30 minutes, starting after the first post, so RP out as much as you like but accordingly.
-If the time limit is reached, the player closest to 0 loses.

FIGHT RULES: Weapons are free to use, and magic is allowed. Nonlethal ammo for firearms, no killing, no maiming. We're not helping pick up any pieces.ROLL RULES:

The person who be IT then has to go find those hidin'. (We will use roll v roll to see if you are spotted.) If you are NOT spotted, you can have a chance to KICK THE CAN! (Death dice rolls - The person who evaded being spotted starts the rolls. First person to 1 wins.). If you kick the can, you win! The first person who be spotted be IT for the next round. Simple, yes?"(If the person who is IT manages to find all the people, they win. If the person who is IT fails to find anyone before the can is kicked, they are IT again.)

Make a wager at our events. We provide entertainment of all sorts but also a chance to make a little scratch.Gil bets are at a fixed rate. The default bets are 50,000 for the match. Wagers are announced before every match, and the payout is after every match. Speak to our bookie and tell them how much you want to put down, they will open trade with you for payments and winnings so remember to collect.You earn Gil when your chosen fighter wins. The gil placed on losing fighters will be evenly given among the winning betters, along with their initial bet back.Rules:- All bets are made before the fight, no bet can be placed after the Initiative roll.- All bets are final. If you lose, no refund.

Knife Throwing!
Each player get three daggers and takes turn throwing them. The roll system is /random 20 and the person with the lowest overall roll out of three wins.

-10-20 A miss of various degreesRandom to see who goes first. Highest score wins the initiative roll.Example play:
-Player One describes their dagger throw, /random 20, and then describes where the dagger hits.
-Player Two does the same as Player One. Friendly banter in-between is okay too!
-Play continues until all three daggers for each opponent is thrown and the player closest to center wins.
-(If the game is a tie, for instance both player roll a 1, we consider that the second dagger knocked out the first and they have both fallen to the floor. The players can retrieve their daggers and have another round to determine the final winner.)
The Pirate's Challenge
How do you feel about fightin' drunk? Good? Great! Then the Pirate Challenge is right for you. Participate in any of our events drunk and earn your place on our wall as king of the drunks!A simple modifier, you take (-100) in every /random roll you make during the event. Win your match and be proud of the drunk you are! Lose and well at least you're too drunk to remember what happened. . . but everyone else will.
