Our Lantern's Glow brews a subtle dark red and carries hints of caramel. Easier on the stomach, our Coerthan Winter is a lighter roast with a higher kick and a creamier natural sweetness. These are our staples - and we encourage favorites!

Any of our house blends can be made into an espresso shot; a more concentrated form, pulling all the more subtle notes to the forefront. We're also happy to add an espresso shot to any of our drinks, should you wish it. If you have no preference, we'll always choose the Caverna Cafe, which we feel offers quite a bit for such a small package.

As all delicious things should, our Pillow Talk starts with quite the workout - our Caverna Cafe blend is whipped with sugar into a delightful soft peak meringue which we then carefully lay on top of a cold, rich glass of milk. The result is a silky treat that goes down smooth, but will leave you buzzing in the aftermath. If you find yourself particularly prone to excessive chattering, ask for decaf!

Our master chef blends multiple types of chocolate into milk, and seals it off with a secret blend of spices. The result is a sweet, but not overly so, hot chocolate that we'd prefer to call a drinking chocolate. One sip, and you might understand why our Madame calls this 'an orgasm in a cup!'Limited to the winter holidays, we're serving this with the option of peppermint!

For those of our guests who are not fond of meats, we do have boards for you, too!In celebration of Valentione's, we've set up a sampling of salacious sweets and saucy, sumptuous sides dedicated to a time of sweethearts and sunshine - rolanberries, raspberries, white chocolate pretzels, pomegranate and more are served on a heart-shaped paddle board that is yours to take home for later. The Chocolate Table

A luxurious event opens for this far more interactive treat - the chocolate table! Open to any guest, you need only indicate that you would like to take a seat at the table - or, if you are more shy, you may simply say that you would like to watch - and one of our hosts will guide you to the lower floors.The Table is an interactive experience, where you may be fed chocolate-, whipped cream- or honey-drizzled treats by one of our lovely companions - or be treated to them enjoying a treat fed to them by another of the staff! We've gathered an assortment of dippables for your delight; cookies, fruits, sweet breads and even bite-sized cakes. In addition, one of our lovely hosts will be by to make certain that your drinks do not run dry.This tasty treat opens a bell into service on the 9th and 23rd of this moon, and availability will depend on our working staff that shift. We do ask for some patience - our staff will tend to you as best they can!Please note that our VIP's have priority on seating as one of their perks.

For the health and safety of our members and guests, we ask that our guests please respect the rules of the establishment. Our staff are not to be abused or pushed into actions they are not comfortable with, and they are not permitted to be nude for this event - at most, they are permitted to be down to a bikini equivalent. Our companions may not leave the table to sit with you, they must remain atop the table.While we do permit our companions to feed our guests, we ask that any contact that may come between guest and staff is kept decent for the event and establishment - /tell is not permitted, as we cannot moderate that. You may, if the staff member indicates as such, lick chocolate from their body, provided that it is not their breasts or genitals. Fingers, lips, cheeks or other areas that may end up decorated are permissible.We ask that if you are not interested in being directly interacted with, you take a seat on the couches above the play area - our companions will interact with anyone who sits on the couches around the Table. We do not mind voyeurs, but please leave the limited space available around the table for the guests who want to play.Not all of our companions are ready to be hired - if you are interested in hiring a companion for a more personal date experience, please let Tsukiko Tanshi know by leaving a message in her message book in Room #1.
The Giving Tree
Give One, Take One, Trade One.
When pleasant company isn't the only gift we're giving!Through the month of December during our Coffee & Tease events, our guests may utilize our 'Giving Tree' to walk away with a secret present all wrapped up for them! The only rule is that in order to get a gift from the 'Giving Tree,' you must have a gift to trade! Didn't bring a gift? That's alright.Our delightful companions have gifts of their own to give to those that wish to participate but perhaps did not come equipped for the season - you'll still have to trade to win a gift from one of them, but be not afraid!You may tell a secret, a silly joke or even a story to get yourself a gift. You could always keep the gift, or you can trade it to the 'Giving Tree' for a chance at a better gift! There's no limit to the amount of times you can trade.However, you cannot take back a gift from the Tree, so be certain that the gift you trade is something that you truly want to trade. Mind, also, that you may not trade a 'half gift' received from the Tree.[ To participate at the Giving Tree, approach the present holder and wait to be instructed to roll, then /random 20. You'll be presented a 'wrapped' gift. You can choose to trade again or unwrap the gift - once unwrapped, a gift cannot be traded again. You'll have to get a new one from a companion to continue trading! ][ While all attempts have been made to make certain there is a variety available at the Giving Tree, we acknowledge that not every gift is to everyone's taste. We've done our best, and encourage you to trade the gift if it's something you already have or aren't interested in. ]

We are not a minor-friendly venue!
The Red Lantern Society and almost all of the projects that are run - including "Coffee & Tease" - are intended for adults and adults only. We ask that guests - both IC and OOC - are at least eighteen years of age. This includes NPC's. Minors will be asked to leave, as well as any guardian with them.
Respect and Patience, please!
We ask that you be mindful of other guests while you are in our venue; we do encourage our guests to mingle, but we do not condone harassment of our guests or employees. Please respect our staff; we work hard to get to every guest, but are subject to understaffing and not all of our amenities may be available.
No Inappropriate Behavior, please!
The Red Lantern is a brothel and our themes are intended for adults. With that in mind, we expect guests to behave in an adult manner. Please respect that not all of our staff are sex workers and that they are in control of their own person. Please refrain from using our staff for images of a sexual nature without permission from the member in question, and please refrain from explicit conversation in /tell.
No Nudity and No Sex, Please!
During "Coffee & Tease", our staff is hard at work providing entertainment and company for our guests. We do not permit the personal hire of our companions during events. Our guests and staff are not permitted to be nude in our open areas; the main lobby, the downstairs lounge and the upstairs cafe. In addition, these main spaces are not a place for sexual interactions, not even in /tell or /party. Please dress - and behave - with respect for these rules.
What is "Coffee & Tease"?
"Coffee & Tease" is a cafe event inspired by the real world bikini baristas found in Washington and, more recently, several other states. It's offered as a playful alternative to the simple tavern or bar theme, and our venue allows for some measure of intimacy and growing familiarity in a role-play environment.
Does This Event Offer VIP Credit?
Yes, "Coffee & Tease" is one of our events that offers VIP credit for those who are looking to become a VIP guest. Our VIP program is in place to reward those who are frequently attending our events and are by nature identifiable to the Free Company members. In general, it is not a benefit that is purchased, but rewarded.
Are there VIP-Specific Rewards?
For "Coffee & Tease," we reward our VIP guests most often by commemorating a drink or dessert in their honor to a space on the appropriate part of the menu. In general, if you are present mostly at one event over another, we try to use that event specifically in our thanks. We do also give our VIP's priority at limited-space events, and as of recent, also hold events solely catered to our VIP guests.
