Underneath the boughs of the Black Shroud sits a small, unassuming cafe where you can forget the hustle and bustle of the real world for a moment. Patrons sit below the sweet smelling wisteria blooms enjoying tea, coffee, and sweet treats, their conversations masked by the sound of the nearby babbling brook. Inside the cozy cottage, the flowery perfume of the garden is replaced with the smell of fresh baked cookies. Sunlight streams in from the windows, settling onto the various comfy seating nooks where couples cuddle and strangers form new friendships while house musicians provide a backdrop of pleasant music.
Mousai offers both lounge space and normal seating where customers can enjoy the various goods prepared in-house by our lovely chefs. Our staff is welcoming and always aim to give our valued guests a relaxing and peaceful environment away from the difficulties of the world. Let us give you a delightful break from what's troubling you. You deserve it!

Hailing from the Skatay mountain range, Jimin Choi is a young woman with her head permanently planted in the clouds. Often described as naive, Jimin always has some big idea she's working towards or a dozen pet-projects occupying her time. Though most would mistake her for a simple receptionist or waitress, she is the owner and founder of Mousai. Despite her youth (for a Viera), she is a master craftsman in several fields ranging from cooking to leatherworking. After settling for a time to work on the Ishgardian restoration and learn the art of astrology, she brought her coffers to Gridania to create a place where fellow craftsmen and adventurers alike could relax and find camaraderie. Selfishly, she hoped it would bring her some more friends as well.

A Veira who has always had trouble settling her roots down in one place. She has traveled all over Eorzea, never feeling satisfied anywhere that wasn’t on the road. Her travels have allowed Jis0o to pick up a myriad of skills, from blacksmithing to drink mixing to monster slaying; a true jack of all trades. Only recently has Jisoo found a place to call home, serving as a barista for Mousai. Her reserved nature can make Jisoo come off as cold and distant, but she has a warm heart and cares deeply for those around her.

A Xaela who is all the way from the chilly northern reaches of Othard. Despite her being the eldest of her siblings, she has a major inferiority complex and is always out to prove how strong she really is. She travels the world looking for the biggest prize to claim and prove her power. Though, adventuring takes money, and money Xiangqi has none—hence her employment within Mousai. She may be a little odd and her understanding of the world somewhat backwards, but under it all she is deeply passionate and enjoys sharing her adventures with friends.
Also, the ears stay ON.

No weapons indoors unless otherwise specified for an event or given special permission by staff.
If a physical fight arises, all patrons involved will be asked to leave. Verbal arguments should be kept to a minimum, but if they become too obnoxious, patrons involved will also be asked to leave.
Illicit and illegal activities are not allowed on our premises. We don't care what you engage in outside of our property, but while here please respect the law.

While Muse FC runs Mousai cafe and participates in RP, we also have our fingers in many other pies! Our members run high level and end-game content with plans for a static in EW, deep dungeons, maps, and mount farms along with more light-hearted content such as housing, crafting, gathering, glamours, and photography.
We are always looking for more members! We don't require you to participate in all of our activities, just the ones that most interest you. Creating a fun and welcoming environment is our main priority no matter what you do in game!
